I have trained in every nail system available and have the skill to tailor each client's individual needs for the best results. Unfortunately we are not built the same because our nail plate shape and life styles vary so much.

On your first consultation, you will be asked questions about your life style, and how long you plan to wear your extensions, it may only be for a holiday, party or wedding etc and also down to the health of your own nail plates. This helps to determine which of the systems is best for you. The client then can decide if they would like a permanent French Manicure or a natural look, shape and required length. After the system type has been chosen the procedure will take 1 hour and 10 minutes. Each set is hand filed and crafted (never using a drill which over time ruins your natural nail plate and each treatment causes friction burns and discomfort to the client).

Prep of the Natural Nail Plate

Your finger nails or toe nails are treated to a mini manicure to help clean off cuticle growth and dead skin with a non abrasive remover. This leaves your natural nail plates clean, fresh and sterilized of grease and bacteria that can cause problems to the extension.

Various Techniques

There are various types of nail tips to suite your natural nail shape or if your own nails are long and just break at a certain length then you can have an overlay where the product is placed directly on to your own natural nail which stops breakages! I can also Sculpture a nail extension using a form to build up new length from your natural nail plate. Again you can have the permanent French or natural look with any of these systems. The Bio Sculpture Gel offers a range of permanent colours for both finger and toe nails.

Mini Pedicure Systems

The Bio Sculpture Gel product gives me the opportunity to permanent colour gel your toe nails, you may like to add rhinestones or flowers to your toe nails. This wonderful product does not chip or lift leaving them smooth and shiny for up to eight weeks where normal nail polish would only last two or three weeks.

The Nail Workshop has the latest selection of professional nail polishes or the old favourites to my colour chart if you wish your extensions to be painted or bring your own colour. This service is finished off with the Creative Super Shiny Top Coat for high shine and longer lasting finish.

This wonderful product does not chip or lift leaving them smooth and shiny for a month where normal nail polish would only last two or three weeks.

The normal nail polish service is free of charge and finished of with the Creative Super Shiny Top Coat for high shine and longer lasting finish.

Extension Aftercare

Each Client will be given a file, sanding block, buff and Creative Solar Oil, also, you are shown how to file and maintain your extensions for best results between infills. This procedure saves the clients time, money and keeps your natural nails healthy!

Infilling

You will need to return every two to three weeks for an infill. The top of the extension will be filed down and a new layer of product is placed over the existing overlay filling the gap between your cuticle and the smile line. The tip is filed to the required length, reshaped and buffed to a glassy smooth finish. If you are wearing Bio Sculpture Gel you may change your permanent colour.

Soak off Procedure

Soaking off the extensions is finished off with a mini manicure to bring your natural nail back to their natural finish.

Feel good about your Nails

My client had her in grown toe nail operated on 20 years ago and the op failed. The nail plate was badly damaged causing the nail to grow from the side wall instead of the cuticle. I used a mixture of Liquid and powder which allowed me to sculpture a new acrylic nail to her toe. Once dried I shaped and buffed the area giving her a natural looking toe nail. My client has not worn open toe shoes for many years and she now has the confidence to wear them once again!

Nail Care

As a highly qualified Nail Technician, keeping your natural nails and enhancements healthy is of paramount importance. I have trained in nail anatomy, nail diseases and disorders, this gives me an in depth understanding of the different processes and procedures to use in the before and after care of your nails.

The Nail Workshop stocks various products to help keep your nails healthy. Each client is given (free of charge) a bottle of Solar Oil, a nail file, white sanding block and a buff. The client will be shown the correct procedure for maintaining their enhancements between appointments, as incorrect filing can cause damage to the natural nail plate and weaken the enhancement.
